Directions
Travelling west from M54 which
becomes the A5 to Shrewsbury
Approaching Shrewsbury follow directions to Welshpool continuing along the A5 on the south side of Shrewsbury until you come to the roundabout
with a first exit signposted Bishops Castle (A488). Continue on the A488
for 13 miles through the villages of Hanwood; Pontesbury; Minsterley and
Hope. After passing electronic signs flashing 'Slow Down' look for a derelict
stone tower on the right hand side and immediately turn right to follow
the sign for Priest Weston.
Follow the road straight for
a half a mile, then around a sharp lefthand bend past the Tin Chapel and
straight on for a mile up the incline; at the top turn sharp right followed
immediately by a sharp lefthand bend; down a long steep bank until at
the bottom you come to a sharp righthand bend going past the Miners Arms
Pub. Then continue to follow the road around to the right for a further
200 metres. 5 Priest Weston is the first cottage as you start to go up
the hill.
The off road parking is through the entrance to
the garden in front of the patio.
Please do not obstruct the access to next door's parking which is through
the gate on the gravel beyond.
Travelling North from Hereford/Ludlow
direction on the A49 towards Craven Arms:
Continue on the A49 through Craven Arms, after about a mile turn left
following the sign to Bishops Castle (A489) past Jewsons the builder's
merchants and then under a low railway bridge. Follow the road for 10miles
to Lydham; at the T junction in Lydham turn right and follow the A488
towards Shrewsbury; after four and a half miles look for a sign for fishing
pools followed by a sign denoting elderly citizens crossing, turn left
at the end of the trees in front of a derelict stone tower to follow the
sign for Priest Weston.
Follow the road straight for a half a mile, then around a sharp lefthand

the top turn sharp right followed immediately by a sharp lefthand bend;
down a long steep bank until at the bottom you come to a sharp righthand
bend going past the Miners Arms Pub. Then continue to follow the road
around to the right for a further 200 metres. 5 Priest Weston is the first
cottage as you start to go up the hill.
